The Sweden national football team has moved its World Cup matches to the Stockholm Stadium due to high demand. After 3,000 Stockholm residents gathered in Kungsträdgården to watch Sweden's premiere match against Tunisia, the political leadership decided to move the matches to a larger arena. The Stockholm Stadium will be the venue for Sweden's upcoming matches, including the meeting with the Netherlands and the group decision against Japan. Emilia Bjuggren, councilor, says it is important that Sweden's World Cup matches are accessible to all. Alexandra Mattsson, councilor, is amazed by the audience's influx and says it's a very positive problem to have. Sweden's 5-1 win in the premiere makes the team virtually already qualified for the round of 16. For those who do not want to go to the Stockholm Stadium, the matches can be seen on a big screen in Husby, Tensta, Bredäng, and on Östermalm.
