Sweden national football team has reached the 2023 World Cup finals after a 1-1 draw against Ireland at Gamla Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg last night. It took until the 79th minute for forward Kosovare Asllani to score the equalizing goal, earning Sweden the one point needed to be sure of finishing at the top of their qualifying group. The quarterfinals in the World Cup finals will be played in Australia and New Zealand next year. Sweden now has a chance to win the World Cup title for the first time since 1958.
